An individual in this position can fulfill all Tier I responsibilities; when necessary to meet department service levels they are primarily responsible for answering general incoming inquiries, including but not limited to phone, chat, website. They will maintain a strong knowledge of Credit Union products and procedures to provide outstanding member service and exhibit problem solving abilities that help achieve first-call resolution. In addition, this position will field card related inquiries. They will also be responsible for account and loan maintenance processing and reporting.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Answer all general incoming inquiries. Maintain member account security and accuracy. Provide information about products and services. Identify and offer cross-sell opportunities whenever possible. Resolve problems within authority guidelines. Escalate problems beyond authority guidelines to the appropriate supervisor.

Perform account and loan maintenance reporting and processing.

Process credit/debit/ATM card requests accurately as needed to assist the Card Services Specialist.

Process loan payments received via mail, phone, website, etc.

Assist other departments as needed.

Performs other job related duties required or assigned.

Performance Measurements:

Provide informed, prompt, professional and accurate service/support to all members and associates by responding to email, messages, and other correspondence in a timely manner.

Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.

Proactively see opportunities to identify appropriate products and services for the greater good of the member.

Process card requests with zero errors.

Maintain all files and records so they are current.

Provide friendly, professional, personal and confidential service to all members and credit union co-workers.

Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.

Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.

Knowledge and Skills:

A high school education or GED.

While Performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand;walk; use hands to process work; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment within one of the credit union branches or it's Headquarters. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position requires flexibility in day-to-day schedule as tasks may change based on department staffing; regular attendance and punctuality are also needed.
